Wildflower Meadow to Return

15/04/2015 at 12:38 pm | Posted in Walking, Wildlife | Leave a comment

You may have noticed that the Wildflower Meadow along Clevedon Road, which was created last year by volunteers and paid for by The Wildlife Trust has turned brown, due to an application of weed killer by parks department. It is hoped that by re-seeding it, more wildflowers will appear later this summer, and it will join with the new wildflower meadow being sown along Longmore Street beside the River Rea..
